Pet care experience
I have many years of experience volunteering with the Akita Advocates, volunteering time to help rescue dogs find permanent homes. Through this experience I have built a lot of knowledge on dealing with dogs of all types, and have come to have a great love and appreciation for everything animals! I have three pups of my own who do great with dogs. As you are on vacation, I can give you daily updates/pictures. I work full time during the week, but can drop in on your pet early in the morning or right after my shift if needed. It would be my honor to enjoy time with your dog while you enjoy your life traveling. Thank you for considering me.

Adam was able to accommodate our request that was less than a week out. He showed up on the same day we sent the request and our dogs absolutely loved him. Loved how cautious he was with our Akita and that he’s worked with akitas before, which made us feel more secure about leaving our pups. He communicated effectively and was great with our dogs.
Very attentive. Kept me updated on everything in my care plan and provided great photos too.

I try and follow a specific routine, to make them feel as comfortable as possible and in their own home. I like to get them exercise with at least one walk, and play with any toys they love to ensure they are getting activity and are stimulated during our time together.

A typical day
I usually start the day out with a morning walk (several routes depending on distance) and beat the heat. Throughout the day they will relax and play with our pups, as well as any other guest dogs we may have.

Availability
I work full-time, but am able to drop in on your fur-kid early in the morning or right after my shift to ensure there is proper coverage. Weekends I am completely flexible.
