Pet care experience
Hello dog lovers! We are taking a temporary hiatus to welcome a new baby! We expect to begin providing limited services again in late 2018. My husband and I are avid dog lovers and experienced dog owners and sitters! I have owned dogs my entire life (I'm in my thirties), and Lu has been a great dog dad since 2012. We dog sat with Dog Vacay for a year when we lived in Cleveland, OH. We are starting up again now they we have settled in to a new home here in NC. I'll be the main caregiver for your dog during their stay. I am a communications professional for a local nonprofit organization. I work from home most days, so I'll be able to keep an eye on your pooch the vast majority of the time. We treat your furbaby like they're our own (maybe better because we spoil them more).

Adair was great with Pearl! We left for an entire week and had never done this before other than a kennel. Everyday we got updates and photos of Pearl and looked like she was having a blast! I would definitely look to have Adair watch Pearl again if we had a long trip.
Our dogs came home very, very happy and tired! Adair is a pleasure to work with, she made time for a meet and greet with her pooch and ours prior to their daycare day I will definitely send my dogs to hangout with Adair and River again!

We ask that pooches that stay with us be up-to-date on vaccinations, potty trained, excellent with other dogs, and well-behaved house guests. If you want your dog to have walks, they must have good leash manners. At this time we can only accommodate dogs smaller than 50lbs (sorry!).
A typical day
While staying with us, your dog will enjoy full furniture privileges (if your rules allow), plenty of backyard fence time, and walks in nearby Rob Wallace Park (weather permitting). We also offer baths ($15) and nail trims ($10) as add-ons.
