Hello everyone! My name is Abriya. I have been caring for animals since I was a little girl. I am an ER veterinary Technician with 8+ years of experience. I am very active and willing to take walks/hikes with your fur babies, and give them the love and attention as if they were my own. I’m also willing to work with any breed/exotic animal such as small rodents/pocket pets and reptiles. I also have experience with arachnids. I will work with fearful/aggressive/anxious dogs/cats. I’m will take the time to learn and understand how to make them more comfortable with me. I know how hard it can be leaving your pet for an extended period of time. One potty break and a 30 minute walk can do wonders for their physical and mental health. I am willing to do virtual meet and greets ,given the covid-19 pandemic, so you can meet me prior to having me in your home. Our pets are a part of our family; Let me make your life a tad bit easier and relieve some stress knowing your fur babies are being cared for properly. This was our first time using the Rover app. We were skeptical to say the least but after meeting Abriya our minds were at ease. She came to our home to meet our dogs ahead of time. They loved her and she sent us pictures of them while we were gone as well as updates on how things were going. We are so thankful for finding such a fantastic sitter for our pups. I am unable to do in-home sitting. I am only available for drop-ins and dog walking, but for drop-ins the pets will receive my undivided attention, meals if needed, playtime and clean-up, medications given and anything extra the pets may need.

No breed preferences. Would like to know any limitations or fears the pet has, diet restrictions etc. so the animal is safe at all times. Being a veterinary technician I am Very familiar with working with fearful cats/dogs. Patience to work with the animals.
A typical day
Long walks, belly rubs, snuggles, cooked meals if needed. Playing fetch, throwing sticks, lots of tug of war, extra care to those that are older, bathing and grooming if needed.
