Pet care experience
Animals are my passion! Besides growing up on a ranch with various animals, my professional experience speaks for itself. As soon as I turned 15, I started to volunteer at a shelter. From there, I worked at a doggy daycare for two years as well as a private organization that dealt with various animals (cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, you name it!). I’ve continued to expand my experience in the last few years - I worked at the San Diego Humane Society for nearly 2 years after living in Austin, TX briefly for a seasonal Wildlife Care Tech position at the Austin Wildlife Rescue. Most recently, I worked for a local bully rescue, It’s the Pits. I’m very comfortable with working with all breeds! No discrimination here! Through my work and love for all things animals, you can trust that I will take care of your pets as if they were my own. Small or big, furry or scaley, I love them all! Abrey is a true animal lover and took excellent care of our special needs cat. He bonded to her quickly and was happy and calm during our absence. We appreciated the feedback every visit, and were so relieved she was able to check his glucose levels. I would recommend Abrey without hesitation and we will definitely book her again.
Abrey is awesome! She is so sweet and attentive. Definitely going to try and book with her next time we go out of town. She took great care of our 5 adult and senior furbabies.
Abrey is very passionate about pets. I worked with her at a dog daycare facility and immediately the dogs have grown so attached to her nurturing ways. She has always gone above and beyond in caring for the dogs whether it be providing them with extra breaks from play time, to treating injuries with the proper medical care. Abrey is amazing with animals! I’ve seen her work with dogs of all sizes. She is able to bond instantly with every dog she meets, no matter how energetic or shy they are. She is very careful and detail oriented in her care with dogs. I feel very comfortable with leaving my dog with her, as well as knowing he’s in good hands!

While I cannot provide care at my home, I can ensure your pet and home are in safe hands. I can accommodate any specific requests i.e. if your pet needs to be crated before leaving, if your pet can/can’t be outside during specific times of the day, if your pet requires specific apparel, sunscreen, etc. before going outside. The list goes on!

I am very experienced with animals of all shapes, sizes, and behaviors. If your pet has any special requirements, please let me know ahead of time. This could be any behavioral concerns or any medical attention they require. i.e. if you have a reactive dog, a hotspot you’d like me to keep an eye, specific medications they require daily if applicable, a shy pet that needs time to warm up to new people, any boundaries the pets may have, etc.!
A typical day
This will vary depending on the pet and their activity levels! I’m more than happy to take your dog(s) out for nice walk around the neighborhood or on a trail approved by pet parents. Playing with toys is always a great way to release energy and keep your pet stimulated. If you have puzzles with approved treats/food I can use, that is always a great option as well. And of course… all the pets and snuggles (if they’re comfortable with it).

I currently work at a tattoo shop, and I’m looking forward to taking care of your babies! My schedule is as follows: Sunday 10am-4pm Monday 3-8pm Tuesday 10am-4pm Wednesday 10am-4pm OFF days are Thursday, Friday, & Saturday My schedule is flexible, depending on what you and your pet need!
