Pet care experience
I love animals and have grown up with various pets including a rabbit, dog, guinea pigs, and multiple fish. I have watched animals since I was 10 years old and I always treat the animals like they are my own. I have taken care of multiple dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. Whether it's taking them on a daily walk or watching them while their family is on vacation, I love taking care of animals!

Abigail was exactly what you want for your fur babies when you have to be away! When she came over to meet the dogs, I could tell she was a dog lover- and the dogs took to her right away! I received a Rover card with visit details and photos after each visit. I give Abigail five stars and will definitely call on her again.
Abigail was great and responded on short notice in a jam. She quickly bonded with our large lab mix and took great care of him over the weekend.

My care for the pet is as detailed as the owner would like me to. I have fed pet medicine, brushed dog’s teeth, cleaned litter boxes, discarded pet litter/waste, and sanitized floors if necessary. I look after any pet like my own, with personal attention and care. It is important for me to leave the house better than I found it, with tidy floors and counters, no pet waste, and organized pet supplies.

Important information to know would be if the dog has any fears or triggers to other animals, humans, or object. If there are any behaviors that should not be encouraged (jumping on couch, pulling leash, etc). Also, anything the animal loves to feel comfortable with new people/places (specific toys, treats, favorite places to scratch, etc).
A typical day
As a music teacher, I am known to sing or talk to the animals along. Having conversations with them make them feel loved, and noticed. If the animal is able, having a fetch or running buddy in the backyard or neighborhood is one of my favorite things to do to keep myself and the dog active together! Personal care and grooming is another activity I love to do that soothes the animal and shows care while their owner is away.

Availability
I am currently a teacher but will be off work starting mid-May through July. I am caring for pets in the early mornings, during my lunch break, and in the evenings. Starting in May, I will be able to take care of any furry friend at all times of the day or night.
