Active dog-lover ready for walks!
Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs my whole life, growing up with a wide variety of dogs, from Danes to Chihuahuas, sweet puppies to aggressive food-sensitive pups. In high school I volunteered at the Jackson County Humane Society and walked dogs for two years, working with all sizes. In the last few years I have been doing pet sitting and dog walking professionally part-time in Portland, and truly love spending time with animals. I am a current Portland Community College student, planning to transfer to Portland State University as a Biology major.
Reviews
Abigail has been caring for our pets (dogs, cats, birds, bunny, ferrets, beardie) for years whenever we need to go away. She knows how to handle animals as an individual and in a household with other pets. She is gentle, firm and kind; very competent. I have always appreciated the "extra attention" she gives to us humans by texting and letting us know how everyone is. Our animals are always happy to see her!

Skills
Information Abigail R. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, but would like to get to know as much as possible about your furbaby, especially if they have any aggressive tendencies, or other sensitivities I should know about.
A typical day
I mostly like to walk doggies through local neighborhoods, where they are familiar with the smells and sights, but as they get more used to me I would love to go on a hiking trip! Or try out a local dog park.
