I grew up with 3 dogs in my house and have been the primary care giver. I trained our Australian Shepherd in agility, and our three legged dog is off leash trained. I frequently host friends dogs while they are out of town or just for the day. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. We are never gone more than 2 hours while sitting. Dogs are taken on a long walk once a day (aside from regular potty breaks). We also give dogs play time in a very large fenced in backyard! Treats and cuddles are available all day. I have a friendly, large three legged 1.5 year old dog named Ranger who is always hoping I bring home a permanent fur sibling. Since that’s not in the cards right now, I like to dog sit in our home so he has a friend. My boyfriend and I have a large back yard and my parents live behind me and have a large fenced in yard so I often walk the dogs back there to let them run and get energy out. We also go on daily walks and frequent the dog park. Ranger sleeps in my room at night on his own bed and is free to roam when we are gone. For our clients, I follow what their routine is at home - crated or roaming as long as they are potty trained. We are never gone more than 2 hours when sitting for a client.
