For visits at your home (and walks in your area), I will communicate with you on what parts of your home and yard are appropriate to take your pet during a visit, and whether they should be on-leash in your yard. In addition to any guidelines you give me, I follow common-sense safety practices such as being careful with doors to outside so your pet does not get out accidentally. At my home, a 2-story apartment, we have a living room with several couches pets can be on and a decent amount of floor space where dogs can play. My room is upstairs, and I do allow pets on my bed. We also have a small fenced yard perfect for quick potty breaks, and there are sidewalks for us to go on walks on our whole big block, and a quiet neighborhood we can walk around too. My dog, Pikachu, is a very sweet 7-year-old lab mix. She gets along well with other pets, as long as we communicate and introduce them appropriately.
