I have been around and worked with dogs for over 10 years! I've always been fascinated with their unique personalities, and helping people to understand how they perceive the world. I have dog-sat on and off for many years, and I thoroughly enjoy it! I have worked in a dog grooming facility, where I bathed, velocity dried, and combed out each dog. I also was responsibly for keeping them fed, watered, and keeping their cages clean. During this process I learned how to work with dogs various needs and issues, and how to keep them calm in situations they felt were stressful, but to also not exasperate stressful situations for them, so the bathing/grooming process could go as smoothly as possible. I found it to be a really rewarding experience and I've taken away a lot of valuable lessons from it that I still apply today! I am attentive, strong willed, patient, and loving. I am a step-mom of two children, so I am only working part-time so to make sure I am available for my family responsibilities as well. You can expect that when I come to check on your pal while you're away, that I will be getting out all of their favorite toys and playing with them the entire time that we have arranged! I will Always make sure they have food/water, have gone potty, and have gotten lots of exercise and belly rubs! If you've hired me to also walk your furry loved one during my stay, I will be sure to do so! If there are any preferred routes you'd like us to take, I am always open to discussing and planning such things ahead of time. I am a very fit and active person, so being active with your baby isn't going to be a problem at all! As the winter months set in, I am open to other possibilities for proper exercise for your fur-baby(s) as well.
