I've had exceptional experience owning 9 animals (cats and dogs) at the same time. I had 3 German Shepherds and a Great Dane and five cats, two of whom were older and three kittens. I've raised all those dogs since they were puppies and they were excellently trained in their behavior, with other animals, and with people. Now, I own a senile bull dog mix who is friendly with others. I know how to handle big dogs and they tend to immediately like me back. I am knowledgeable with the caring of puppies, potty training, their hyperactivity and their tendency to put everything in their mouth. I live in a mother-in-law basement, which is linked directly to the garage and fenced backyard, so you don't have to worry about the dogs escaping or ruining furniture, carpet, or any other upholstery. The house is puppy- and dog-proof as well. If I take your dog for a walk, I live in a populated neighborhood with lots of parks and streets to walk up and down. As for other people in the household, my great grandmother, caretaker, and mother stay on the main floor upstairs. However, I have two siblings, aged 15 and 17, who also live in the basement with me. They also grew up and took care of dogs and cats and are very familiar with those things. However, they will be gone at school and work for the majority of the day so they won't be majorly involved with my work.
