Hello, PLEASE read my entire profile before requesting a service - thank you!!! 😊 I’m a professional in animal care, most specifically working with 6 California sea lions as a former carnivore keeper at Denver Zoo 🦭. I have completed an Advanced Marine Mammal Husbandry course and am qualified to train, walk, play, administer medications to any pet- exotic or not! I am happy to help care for your pets with the same level of professionalism that I had for the animals at the zoo. My boyfriend, Payton, is also around to help with your pets needs. He may tag along on meet and greets or handle drop offs and/or pick ups. He also offers dog washes as an extra cost- dogs do tend to get a little dirty here when playing hard! I have a large, tiered fenced back yard that’s perfect for any pup!! The base of the yard is fairly big with a large, shady tree in the middle 🌳 When I am home, I usually keep my sliding door open for easy inside/outside access but monitor my house guests very closely! My neighborhood is ideal for dog walks as it has two different parks and an open space with winding trails. I’m currently solely doing Rover at this time! I accept a couple drop in visits in the area but spend a lot of time at home with the dogs that come to stay with me! I do have a 5 year old son that lives with me half the week. We enjoy taking the dogs for walks to the park and playing in the backyard when the weather is nice! . IMPORTANT: I do board multiple dogs at one time and it’s highly unlikely that your pets will be the only at my house during their stay. I can make exceptions to host only your pets if there is enough notice and for an additional $20/night per dog. (Notice must be made at least 6 weeks in advance and are not guaranteed until meet and greet has taken place and the booking has been approved) 🐶 🐕 🦮 🐩 🐕‍🦺 🐾 🦴 When boarding dogs I only accept well mannered and non-aggressive pets so that myself and others can confidently have a safe stay! There is ZERO TOLERANCE for any aggression of any kind. I reserve the right to turn away any clients I feel may not work in a “pack” environment. Please know my house may or may not be the best house for your pet but I do strive to ensure a safe environment for all dogs. Meet and greets are required to ensure my house guests are a good fit. Either virtual/phone or in person meet and greets are accepted just let me know your preference. Only after a meet and greet is completed will a booking request either be accepted or rejected. I am selective with bookings as I try to ensure a cohesive environment and all my house guests are great fits. Meet and greets must be attended on time and can last no longer than 20 minutes. Most meet and greets last anywhere from 5-15 but I’d like for each family to feel comfortable and confident about where their dog will be staying. . BEFORE MEET AND GREET: Make sure your pet profile is up to date on Rover. Please include the following: 1. How social is your dog? 2. Is there any special care that is needed? (Medication, special routine, needs more exercise than backyard play and/or short walks) 3. Where does your dog typically sleep? Bed/dog bed/crate/couch etc. 4. Include a screenshot/picture of all current vaccinations 5. How vocal is your dog? 6. Include a brief description on what your dog is used to in a daily routine . OTHER INFO: If your pet has a crate, please bring it. If they aren’t crate friendly that’s still ok! I have plenty of bowls For food and water and it is not necessary to bring extra. I do not want to not return your food/water bowl back to your home. Your pet will have a designated time for them to eat their meals free from others ♥️ I’ll touch base the day before your stay to ensure we have nailed down all the details. HOURS: All drop offs and pick ups MUST be between the hours of 7am and 8pm Meet and greets will be scheduled for weekday afternoon/evenings. If this doesn’t work with your schedule I will try to accommodate another time. Drop off ➡️ expectation is a quick transition at the front door Pick up ➡️ done in my driveway. Make sure to send a message with an ETA when you are your way and we will meet you outside for a seamless transition ✨If owner is more than 10 minutes late a new appointment may be required for any previously scheduled meet and greet, drop off or pick up.
