Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs and cats my entire life. As an adult I have a senior Anatolian Shepard and a senior terrier, both of whom I love to pieces! I worked in the veterinary field for 3 years and I currently work at an animal shelter. I am able to take care of any special needs, diets, or other requirements your pet may have! I have raised young dogs, taken care of a pregnant dog and her puppies following the birth, and taught older dogs basic commands and manners. I am confident in my ability to handle both dogs and cats and adapt to each situation. I would love to be a part of your pet's development. I will be more than happy to watch and love on your dog whenever you need it!

This was the second trip for which Abigail watched our kitties. Again, she handled 4 cats, 2 of which needed meds, no problem. When she takes care of our cats, I know they are in good hands. This helps to give me peace of mind when we're traveling. She is awesome!
Abigail did a great job looking after our 4 cats! We are very protective of our cats and usually have friends stop by when we are out of town to watch them. However, for our latest trip, our friends were not available for all of the days we needed a cat sitter. So, after reading previous good reviews for Abigail, we decided to hire her. We have a senior cat, a cat that used to be feral and so is very shy around strangers, and two younger cats on medications, (one takes a pill and the other is given a transdermal cream). Prior to confirming the booking, we had a meet and greet with Abigail, during which we asked her to give our cats their meds to make sure she'd be able to handle them. She easily gave them their meds. After taking care of our kitties when we were out of town, she provided a detailed report with plenty of pictures. We are so happy to have found Abigail. We would not hesitate to book her in the future. We know our kitties will be in good hands!

When I'm house sitting, I like to stick with the regular routine as much as possible. Other than that, I like to snuggle and love on all pets while I'm working and enjoy walking with pups in the evening!

Before I meet your dog, I'd like to know size, breed, and age. Those are the big ones. Also important would be temperament (ie: are they shy or aggressive or welcoming to strangers?) and how much training they've had (ie: are they house-trained? can they sit, stay, come, etc?). Otherwise just tell me what you love about your dog!
A typical day
I love to play in yard and go on energized walks. I also love just lazing on the couch and watching TV if that's your pet's energy level!

Availability
I work full time and do this for fun. I do ask for 48 hours notice before a brand new sitting or drop in. I work long shifts currently. Please ask about the specific times I'm available!
