Pet care experience
I grew up in Northwestern PA surrounded by dogs. I now live in Denver with my husband and our Redbone Coonhound CJ. He’s the light of my life, and knowing we provide him with a home full of warmth, nourishment, and lots of exercise brings me so much joy. Currently, I live in a house with a fenced yard near Wash Park. We have lots of safe and open space to walk, run, and play with neighbor dogs. For my career, I am an educator and school librarian at an independent school in Denver. I love Rover because I live to meet new dogs and provide them with the same care I give my own. The pictures in my profile are of Lucy, my parent’s GSP and CJ, my Coonhound.

Abigail did an incredible job looking after my pup and house while I was away! I had no worries leaving my older/shy dog with her. She was an excellent house guest and sent great picture updates. I would definitely recommend her to others and choose her again!!
Abby was very welcoming on Lana’s first stay and took good care of her! She also handled our pick-up logistics well. I hope she’s available next time!
Our dog, Chance, is timid with meeting new people, which can make it difficult (for OUR peace of mind) when leaving Chance with new humans.....cue Abbie. We could not have found a more wonderful caretaker for our dog!! She has a calming presence with our pup, but most importantly, she was very playful with Chance as well. We have used her many times and each time Chance sees her, she goes and gives her a big kiss on the face. It gives us huge peace of mind to know that Chance loved Abbie as much as we did!
Abbie is my roommate and long time friend. In college she started her own dog walking business and employed some of our friends. So when it comes to walking dogs she is quite experienced! She is also MY dog's favorite aunt! She always comes home with treats for Eva (my dog) and takes her on adventures! Abbie will be the best dog walker you employ!
