I have experience caring for dogs on many medications. I have dog sat for a woman who's dog needed medication once daily and did not miss a dose. I also care for my mother's dog who has severe seizures and am able to give the medications at the required times with no problem. I have experience with skittish dogs, senior dogs, and small animals (ferrets and hamsters). I have experience caring caring a small tortoise as well.

Abigail exceeded our expectations! Abigail did a fantastic job giving our 12 year old dog her insulin shots twice a day and providing detailed descriptions of feeding and bathroom breaks. We all loved the daily photos she sent of our dog that let us know our dog was doing great! Abigail even cleaned up after our dog had an accident in the house. This was our first time using a dog sitter and Abigail let us enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was being given the care she deserves. We will definitely use Abigail again and you can hire her with confidence!
This is the first time I have used the Rover app and the first time I have had someone come to my home to take care of Julia when I’ve been out of town. Julia’s kennel was booked. So, I took a leap of faith & tried Rover. I feel like I hit the dog caregiver lottery with Abigail! She was always on time (actually early!), cared for Julia, took pics & wrote updates...even dealt with an electrical outage when the garage door wouldn’t open. She kept me up to date & we figured out an alternate way to get in the house to get to Julia. I would definitely recommend Abigail! Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of my senior pup Julia♥️?

When watching dogs I will be able to keep to whatever schedule the dogs are used to and let them out or walk them when scheduled. I know it is stressful leaving dogs with a stranger and would be able to text when I arrive/leave for the day (if that's what is scheduled) and text when I give any medications. I have experience handling my dog Luna when she is actively seizing.

I like knowing the dog's usual schedule (what time they usually wake up, eat, sleep, etc.) and any medications the dogs are on. I also like to know about the dog's personality and what their favorite things to do are.
A typical day
I enjoy playing with the dogs with whatever toys they bring to me. When I'm home, I always tell Tonks to bring me her rope and she'll grab whatever rope toy she wants to play with. I also enjoy seeing what tricks they may know and taking them on walks around the neighborhood.

I have recently graduated from Mizzou. I care for my five dogs at home. One of my dogs (Luna) is high needs, as she has had seizures in the past and her medications and arthritis causes her to have hind limb weakness. Luna's needs has given me experience working with disabled dogs.
