Pet care experience
I’ve cared for animals since I was a child. I grew up with dogs and currently have a cat. I love drop-ins with cats and strolls with dogs. Friends in the area have always relied on me to care for their pets when they’re away and I’m always happy to oblige!

First time leaving our 10 week old puppy alone and Abigail was the perfect person to take care of our puppy. He was so happy to see her and we were so relaxed knowing he was totally being taken care of!!
Abigail watched my cat William and was wonderful. She was punctual, had good communication, and sent me picture updates. It is so hard to leave a pet with someone, but Abigail set my mind at ease because I knew that William was taken care of and loved on. It also helps that she has her own cat who she clearly adores, so you know that she understands how important pet care is. I highly recommend her and will ask her back whenever I need extra help.

I would love to know their typical routine, i.e. feeding time and walking time. Also, if they are friendly with other dogs or have any specific medical needs.
A typical day
I would take your dog to the nearest park and play a game that would stimulate your dog, like fetch. I also would bring treats and a poop bag to make sure your dog was taken care of. For a drop-in visit for a cat, I would follow your home instructions and treat your place and your cat with respect.

Availability
I’m pretty wide open in the summer as I teach high school in the area. I start teaching at the end of August so my availability will change slightly. I can walk and check in on pets early mornings and evenings during weekdays. I’m typically free and flexible on weekends.
