Pet care experience
Hello, I am a college student who goes to Santiago Canyon College full time, online. I am studying Wildlife Biology as my major to continue on to work with animals for my career. I am a big animal lover and have two pets of my own. I have a lot of experience house sitting and watching people’s dogs while they are gone. I treat your pets like they are family to me. I will fall in love with them within a minute guaranteed! I have worked with baby puppies and animals to seniors and done well with all of them. I enjoy walking around my neighborhood with my dog and a couple others who tag along! I go for long or medium walks but can take things slow if needed or speed it up! Abi has dog sat for us many times while we go on vacation. She watches our dog and takes great care of her while we are away. She gives our dog her oral medication and takes her on long walks since our dog is so high energy. My dog is so happy to see her. She knows her name and get so happy when we tell her that “Miss Abi” is coming to visit her. I highly recommend Abi!
We love Abi! It’s so nice and refreshing to know our animals are in the best of hands. She’s sweet and gives them love like her own. Our dog isn’t the best and she handles very well given our dogs wild nature. We would highly recommend Abi for all your pet needs.
We have used Abi for our pets over and over. We have a golden retriever and 2 cats. She checks on them 3 times a day when asked and takes them out for walks and gives them their medications. She is always on time and a very reliable source. She treats our animals like family and sends up pictures throughout the day when we are gone. We love her and highly recommend her!!

If I am caring for someone’s pet, I treat their pet like family. I would ask about the pets medical needs, walking times, diet, if he/she has a chip, etc. Knowing these things is super important! I don’t have any breed preferences I fall in love with every animal no matter what. That’s part of who I am!
A typical day
We will go on walks wherever their owner feels comfortable. If that is the park, the neighborhood, etc. Each dog is different so it’s important to talk to the owner first! I love to cuddle and play fetch and tug of war. Fetch and tug of war entertains both me and the dog. Cats don’t play much, but I can sit with them for hours and brush them or pet them and same with dogs. It is so stress relieving for both pet and human!
