Pet care experience
I've personally cared for 3 dogs: a 40-pound rescue (a foster dog who now has a great family) and an 2 small shih tzus (dogs that I gave basic training to and take care of). So I have experience with different sized dogs, breeds, and temperaments. I've been through puppy training classes as well so I have the knowledge for leading/guiding on walks. I am also very observant of dog body language so I know if they're uncomfortable or nervous or overwhelmed/overstimulated, so you can be assured that your pet's safety and comfort zone are my priority.

Abi exceeded my expectations in terms of her caring, loving attitude towards the dogs, her reliability and willingness to accept all responsibilities and requests. She followed directions and even showed up when not scheduled to check on them. I would highly recommend.
Abi did an incredible job of taking care of our senior dog. She was patient with him and made sure I knew all of the details of her visits. I was completely at ease and I would definitely recommend Abi!!!
A great adventurer for our dog and cats. Abi was resourceful, prompt, and communicated perfectly. Very professional and helpful, very thoughtful and always prepared. It was my first time using Rover and I was not sure how I felt about it, but I know I needed help. I am just so busy that I am failing as a pet owner. I contacted Abi and informed her of my concerns and what I needed taking care of and first experience with her was amazing! They loved her!!! I am so happy that I chose Abi as my pet caregiver. She is absolutely amazing!

Please let me know of any and all concerns you have regarding me walking your dog or doing a check-in. I'd like to be aware of a dog's general temperament ahead of time, as well as what can trigger a negative reaction. For instance, for reactive dogs: what kinds of things triggers your dog's reactivity? At about what distance does this occur? Your dog's safety and enjoyment are my priority!
A typical day
I come to each walk with treats and poopy bags. When I take dogs on walks I like to let them sniff as much as they want! My service area is near a walking/biking trail (El Rio Trail) so that's my go-to place for dog walks! I will let your dog take all the sniff breaks they need. Having them use their noses is a great way to tire them out.

Availability
I currently work full-time (30+ hours per week) so my availability is limited to some weekends and some weekdays. Feel free to send me a message and we can talk about my availability to look after your dog(s)! I usually keep my calendar up to date though for the next 3 weeks!!
