Hi! Im Abey, with Abey's Pet Care! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile! I hope to chat soon! My passion is animals, and it always has been. I'm so happy, and feel so lucky to be able to be a dog walker and pet sitter! I have been caring for my own animals, as well as family and friends' from a very young age, and as I've gotten more experience and started doing pet care professionally, I've had the opportunity to work with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, and small reptiles! I have experience working in doggy daycares, as well as informal training in basic dog training, reactive dog training, dog nutrition, and first aid! I'm very attentive to all of the animals in my care, no matter their species, age, breed, health/behavior issues, etc., and my clients can attest to the fact that I absolutely love the animals I care for, as if they were my own!

All I can say is WOW! I was very nervous about doing this whole online thing and having someone come into our home to watch our girls. Now Abey is my doggies' new best friend! This is the best decision I ever made for my pets so they could stay in the comfort of their own home. Abey made me feel more comfortable asking me questions and keeping me updated with pictures and videos. Came home to my house how I left it. Definitely booking her for futures dates before she gets snatched up by someone else!
Abey was wonderful! If you are looking for someone who is dependable and treats your pets like family then you need to hire her. I can’t express enough how happy I am with how well treated my boys were. And the pictures she provided made it easy to see they loved her too.
Abey was amazing! kept us updated the whole time! Will definitely be using her again!! :)
Abey went above and beyond to learn about my rescue who is anxious and hesitant to go on walks and also reactive. She put a lot of time and energy into asking questions and getting to know my dog before even meeting her. She makes efforts to take her to places where my dog will be more comfortable and has had great communication. She’s done more than I’ve expected and made my family comfortable having someone to trust with our sweet but somewhat challenging girl!

I always do my best to make sure everyone in my care is as safe as possible. I have experience in dog behavior, and always watch my clients dogs closely to monitor their behavior and any other dogs that might be around them to make sure everyone is safe. Im always checking our surroundings to make sure there's nothing of concern. I also update my clients immediately if anything at all changes during their pet's visit, no matter how big or small, and I try my best to be as force free and positive as possible. So, you can rest assured that your pet will be happy, safe, and healthy in my care! Of course, my clients must be aware that dogs are animals, and getting scared, hurt, or sick is not something I can always control. In the event that something serious happens, I will contact you immediately and together we can decide what course of action to take.

Please let me know if your pet has any limitations, behavioral issues, health issues, etc ahead of time! I can generally accommodate whatever you need, but I'll need to know in advance, so I can plan accordingly, and everyone is kept safe and happy!
A typical day
I do a lot of different things with the different dogs in my care! Some things I've done with different dogs, include: structured walks, off leash hikes, trips to the beach, doggy playtime (during drop ins or walks), basic training, fetch, and for the dogs that are low energy, sometimes we just sit and enjoy the outdoors!

Availability
Pet care is my main job thanks to my wonderful clients I've already acquired! So, I'm relatively open during the week, although visits around 11-1 pm do have low availability most days, due to high demand.
