I have been around dogs of all ages and sizes my entire life. I have watched dogs for my parents, as well as former roommates. I worked at a pet store, where I spent time with all types of dogs. I have always loved being around dogs and I would love to help take care of your pet. If I am the right fit for you, let me know! I promise to take care of your pet like they were my own. I am currently between jobs and available everyday until December 26th. I could work with your pet's routine and ensure their needs are always met. It really depends on what your pet needs. The more information you give me, the better I can support your pet. I would like to meet your pet in its environment and make sure it feels comfortable around me.

I have a fenced in backyard. My dog, Lucas, is extremely friendly. He is a great dane/lab mix. I typically check the yard for any safety concerns. If your pet were to visit my home, I'd slowly introduce your pet to Lucas. I would keep the dogs separated (one on each side of the fence) to ensure they are comfortable. I would also watch them at all times.

I would like to know if you have any preferences on what I should do with your dog. For example, would you rather I take your dog on a long walk or have your dog play in you backyard instead. Also, I would like to know if they have any special diets, as well as medications. My cat has been on medications and has a special diet, so I am familiar with administering medications and giving the correct amount of food based on the animal based on diet restrictions.
A typical day
We will go on walks around your neighborhood, at dog parks, on hikes, really wherever you would like. I love playing fetch with dogs and wearing them out so by the time I leave they will be all tuckered out.

Availability
I am available on weeknights and weekends currently. I would be happy to take care of your pets throughout the day on weekends. I especially enjoy hiking with dogs. I have a great dane/lab mix of my own and I find enjoyment being outdoors with him. I also enjoy spending time with other pets, especially cats. Whether it's feeding your cat, spending playing with your cat, or even walking your cat (my cat, Houdini, loves his harness), I'm happy to take care of them on my weekends or weeknights.
