Pet care experience
With over 15+ years of experience working with dogs in both care, training, and rehabilitation settings I will provide your fur baby with a high standard of care, the same care I give to my own dog. I’ve worked with training seeing eye dogs, raising them from puppy to 1 year old and providing them proper certified training during that time, and have 10+ years volunteering at animal shelters working with dogs in various backgrounds and with varying temperaments through a variety of training methods to get them ready for their forever homes. I’m very experienced working with anxious or nervous dogs, as well as dogs that need some additional training or might be quite hyperactive. I currently have a 3 year old Great Dane mix named Auggie who I’ve trained completely on my own from the time he was a puppy. He’s extremely well-behaved, well-trained, and has passed public access testing for service dog certification.
Reviews
Abby is a conscientious pet owner and pet watcher. She meets the animals on their level maintaingin a pack leader mentality. Abby is caring and loving. She treats the animals as friends and family and I would trust her to watch any of my pets any day.
Abby is a great pet owner and understands dog behavior. Her own dog is well-trained and well-behaved, and she is great with other people's dogs at the dog park. I know my own dog will be well taken care of when in her care. 5 stars!
Abby is a huge dog-lover and is very good with dogs of all sizes and breeds! She has her own dog, Auggie, who she loves like her own child, and also helps to care for her roommate and friend's dogs when needed. I highly recommend Abby for all dog care needs.
We couldn't be more grateful for the joy and relaxation she brings to our furry friend. Highly recommended for any dog parent seeking more than just a daycare – Abby creates a haven for happy and tired pups!

I care for others pets the same way that I care for my own, which is with an extremely high standard of care. My dog is my baby and I know most other dog parents feel the same way, so I treat my clients dogs the same way I would treat my own. Meaning they get an ample amount of affection, stimulation, and play time; they’re allowed on the beds and the sofas; they get all of their needs taken care of; and they are rarely if ever left alone (I would happily stay in to care for them if your pet was not comfortable being alone).

Information Abby W. would like to know about your pet
It would be important for me to know any dietary restrictions and allergies ahead of time, as well as any temperament or behavior issues that I would need to be aware of. I would prefer to do meet and greets with my dog ahead of time as well, to ensure our dogs will get along.
A typical day
I provide a lot of activity and enrichment for my own dog and they would continue with your dog as well. Regular walks and trips to the beach or park throughout the day (or to the fenced-in dog park depending on your dogs off-leash comfort level). I would love to provide hiking trips as little excursions on weekend days or long-weekends. I also love to provide enrichment to my dog and the dogs I watch — things like frozen kongs, lick mats, treat dispensing toys, etc. I also love to provide training to my clients, which is great at tiring out high-energy dogs — so if there is anything you’d like me to work on with your dog please let me know!

Availability
I’m currently working full-time from home and I have an extremely flexible schedule that allows me to take my dog and yours out for as much exercise, playtime, and enrichment as they need. I have very few meetings throughout the week and stay in most evenings so your dog would rarely if ever be alone.
