Crate-Trained Dogs Only
Abby was so great and accommodating watching our pup during our wedding weekend! So thankful to her!! Dany had a great time !
Very pleasant experience and I think Ripley had a great time even though she hates being away from us.
Abby was able to take my pup on extremely short notice. She sent me pictures of my dog hiking, playing with her dogs, and enjoying a nap on the couch. My dog came home tired and happy.
Tuckered Tails are happy tails!
We are passionate about the outdoors, adventures and dogs! That is why we started Tuckered Tails Dog Adventures and Pet Care Services. We are a full-service Pet Care business that specializes in off-leash pack "adventure" hikes, walks/check-ins and overnight care.
We treat every pet in our care as though they were a member of our family! Whether on one of our adventure hikes or boarding with us for a week, we give each dog ...
What Abby would like to know about your dog
(1) Please make sure your "dog's information" is completed. Since we are only able to watch pups that are good with other dogs, cats and are house trained, it is great to have that info upfront via Rover dog info (and not have to pester you for more info!)
(2) On most week days we go out for our Adventure Pack Hikes from 11am-2pm. If you are interested in booking an overnight or daycare stay with us please keep in mind that your pup will be left at home during these hours (and only these hours), unless they are great off-leash and would like to join the pack! Unfortunately, we can not take dogs that need to be on leash on our pack hikes. We can discuss this further during the booking process. Dogs that do not join us on our pack hikes will get the chance to run and play at the large, fenced-in dog park near our house before and/or after their mid-day nap time.
(3) we do own and live in a duplex which is on a Main Street. We love it here! But it is not huge and has some limitations when it comes to boarding pups! We are unable to accept pups who are frequent barkers. A bark here and there is totally fine but if it's a favorite pastime it might not be the best fit. Although we are on a Main Street, we do have a fenced back-yard (with a great river view) and never leave the dogs unattended in the back yard. Lastly, because our house is a bit on the small side we usually only take one dog or one family of dogs at a time (which will be in addition to our two dogs).
