I Was Born With a Heart for Pets

Pet care experience

The pets always come first no matter what. It doesn’t matter what I have scheduled, I will make sure that your pets will always be taken care of. That’s what is important. If they need a two mile walk first thing in the morning, I will make it my priority to do so. It's important to provide them comfort and care because they give us so much in return. So I'll give them walks or give a nice pet because I appreciate the time I spend with them, as I have pets myself. I understand what it takes to be a responsible pet owner or sitter. I will keep your pets occupied, keep in contact with you, and follow the instructions given to provide all necessary care. Types of experiences: 1) I have grown up with pets almost my entire life 2) I own pets myself 3) I have gone through dog training 4) I used to work at a dog boarding facility where I have worked with many types of dogs, administered meds, and kept in communication with clientele 5) I have been on Rover since 2017 I do have a dog named Doc and if you’re doggo needs a walking buddy, then they will surely have one. Or if you’re pet wants a companion or playing buddy while housesitting, then I will gladly bring Doc along. This does not always have to be the case. If your pet does not get along with other dogs, then I will leave Doc at home. As of right now, pet care is my main job. I don’t have any other part-time job. However, I do walk and may be gone up to 6 hours depending on the day. Thanks It starts with the daily schedule of what your pet has. If they need meds at a certain time of day, I will make sure they get them. If they need a certain amount of activity, I will take them for walks, go the parks, or have them play with toys. I make sure the house it picked up before leaving. I will water plants, take out the garbage, bring in the mail, etc.

Information Abby T. would like to know about your pet

How active is your pet? Are there any health conditions or concerns? Do they have any allergies? Have they shown any aggression? With toys, food, other pets, etc.?

A typical day

A typical day will be going straight outside after waking up, then breakfast. We till then wait around until they have digested their meals before we go on any big walk. Most days I will be gone from 10-3pm, however if your dog can’t wait that long, I will stop in-between to let them out. After walks, evenings are typically open.
