Pet care experience
Hi there! I am a lifelong animal lover and have 20 years' experience walking and sitting friends' and clients' pets. In high school I worked at our neighborhood animal clinic running the boarding kennel and assisting in grooming and wellness checkups. I also worked for a cat hospital out of college and have been a cat owner all my life. Prior to my move to Michigan I helped a friend with her dog-walking business, seeing about 15 dogs weekly. I am very flexible with scheduling! I am available to help with walks, in-home sitting, play visits, etc. I am not able to board pets in my own home but am more than happy to come to you! We can walk your neighborhood or head to one of the many parks in the area.

Abby was amazing with our elderly cat Forest. His food needs are complicated and she had him eating well, but best of all she gave him lots of attention and brushing. He was in great shape when we got back after the weekend!
We couldn’t recommend Abby more! She took excellent care of our dog during multiple visits this week and sent us updates and photos as well. We will definitely book with her again!
Abby is the best- one cat needed antibiotics and the other needed nasal drops and she was able to do it all. Plus they love her. It is so much easier going away without worry with her in charge.

A typical day
This often depends on the desires of your pet! Do you have a kitten with endless energy? I will provide lots of playtime and stimulation. Do you have an older pup who’s past long walks but could still use some company and stimulation? I will match your doggo’s energy and just have a nice hang. Got a cuddle bug? My own cat would prefer to never leave my lap, so I am accustomed to giving them all the time in the world to snuggle! And you'll receive updates and pics daily of how they're doing. I prefer to use your pets’ own toys, but I have a little stash of things like fetch items for the pups and mousies for the kitties.

I am currently back in school and am typically able to arrange my schedule to suit that of your pet's. I am no stranger to waking up early to provide pet care!
