We are a family of five, and we love animals! We have three kids (youngest is 3), a friendly indoor-outdoor cat, two chickens (kept safely in a coop In the backyard) and a big goofy dog named Charlie who LOVES to play. Because Charlie is big and our house is not, we can't handle another big or super-energetic dog right now. Charlie doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he will want to play nonstop! We have a fenced-in yard and are happy to take your dog out there to play or on walks around our quiet neighborhood.

Great host and took great care of our pug Riggins!
Abby and Ryan were great! We did a meet and greet and then my 2 frenchies stayed with them for almost a week. I got daily updates and it was clear they were treated like part of the family!
Abby and Ryan took our last minute reservation request and saved us from canceling a scheduled trip. They noted all the instructions for him and gave us updates which we greatly appreciated. Will definitely book with them again!
Abby is one of the biggest dog lovers I know and one of the most caring and conscientious people. She is an ideal pet caretaker and will make your pet feel like the center of the universe during their stay. She is also incredibly responsible and organized and would stay on top of all of your pets needs! I highly recommend her for dog sitting!

Your dog will be part of our family, allowed to hang out on the couch with us, have free range of the house (except the basement, which is the cat's safe zone), and roam around our fenced-in backyard. If your dog is an escape artist type, we can keep him or her on leash even in the backyard if that's what you'd prefer.

A typical day
Playing in the yard, chasing frisbees, playing with kids in the house, wrestling with our friendly dog or cat, going on walks around the neighborhood or to the park.

Availability
With Covid, we are working mostly from home (though that may change in the fall of 2021). We are in and out on weekends, taking the kids places but often hanging around doing yard- or housework. We've never left our dog alone for more than about 6 hours, but our outings are usually much shorter than that.
