Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs at home and traveled cross country with my special senior girl twice. I have a biology degree and have worked professionally with animals at farms and at the national aquarium!

Abby is a natural caregiver, and she loves all animals, especially dogs. Abby has spent her entire life with dogs, and last year she took care of her family dog Roxie while her parents were on the other side of the country. Roxie was shy and extremely anxious, but at the end of the year Abby’s parents could hardly recognize their dogs new behavior. Abby taught Roxie how to walk off leash, enjoy car rides, and play happily and gently with other dogs, who were often times much smaller than she was. Abby accomplished this all through positive reinforcement, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Abby to watch my own pets after seeing how happily and easily she is able to transform even the most anxious and unpredictable dog.
Abby has always been amazing with animals, especially dogs. I have two myself, an old hound dog that's almost 13, and a younger large shepherd mix that not quite 2, and she is super patient and tactful with both of them. I've seen her care for all sorts of dogs over the years, and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

My partner and I live in an apartment off of Esther short park so while we don’t have a yard, prime green space is just steps away! When we had my dog, we took frequent trips to officers row (a park in walking distance) and Frenchman’s bar (a great little beach if your dog loves playing in the sand)

We live right downtown so there are lots of fun places to walk, officers row, the waterfront, Esther short park, and Frenchman’s bar are some places I like to bring them.
