I've have had a variety of pets throughout my entire life, and dogs since I was born. Throughout my childhood we had consistent family dogs, and also foster dogs of all ages for many years. I have also had and am comfortable and excited to care for lizards, birds (depending on breed**), and cats, as well as some farm animals such as chickens, ducks, and goats. Multiple times I have been the sole provider for someone else's dog or dogs for a month at a time. Every animal I care for I provide a big hearts' worth of love and treat as if they were my own. I am especially skilled at enforcing boundaries or habits you want your pet to learn, wearing out the high-energy doggos, and making sure everyone gets enough snuggles. My husband, Alex, who is on my team for providing your pet all the love they require, has also had pets throughout his entire life, including dogs, cats, turtles, rabbits, and more. He is extremely gentle to all. ** I have had a cockatiel, budgie, conures, and feel comfortable caring for small-medium sized parrots. I am not able to care for larger birds like macaws and cockatoos.
