I have been a Rover sitter for a year and a half. I have cared for several dogs and cats with varying needs. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have a deep love for both of them! I currently have two cats and two dogs, all of which are rescues. I also work in an elementary school where I am the handler for our school comfort dog. My 5 year old German Shepherd has been my biggest teacher when it comes to owning and training animals. She came from a rough situation and we had a lot of bad habits, trauma, and anxiety to reverse. I have worked hard with her over the past four years on training and socializing and she has come so far! So I am definitely comfortable even around the most anxious of dogs and have developed knowledge and skills as far as how to respond to them and make them feel comfortable, too.
