Hi! I'm Abby. I've been taking care of a variety of dogs for over 9 years now. Family and friends have depended on me for medication administration, walking, post surgery care, house sitting services, etc. I come from a family of three dogs and currently own one dog of my own, so I am very familiar with everything that goes into caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and breeds.

Second time we have left our dog with Abby and again so pleased- great communication, sent pics and made sure our boy was nice and comfy.
Abby was a wonderful dog sitter for my dog Bean! She stayed on communication with me and sent pictures while I was gone!
Abby is great, she was flexible when scheduling multiple appointments and she is very responsive. She sent photo updates of the dogs during their stay which my wife and I appreciated.

When it comes to caring for dogs in my home, I have a fenced in yard and plenty of indoor space to hang out. I am available for lots of cuddles (if your dog is a cuddler) as well as plenty of play time. I have plenty of space to set up a crate if needed and I always make sure to limit your dog's access to anything they shouldn't be getting into such as people food or garbage cans. There are no children, however, I do have a 70 lb female dog and two gerbils who stays in their elevated cage 24/7. When caring for your dog, I will be home the entire time so am totally available to provide care to your pet anytime they need it whether that be letting them outside, administering medication, etc.

If your dog has any special behaviors or preferences I should know about ahead of time, I am absolutely willing to cooperate with you to take care of those. I am very experienced in providing oral medication and willing to learn how to administer injected medication. If your dog has a specific routine, favorite toy, specific feeding needs, etc. please feel free to let me know. I'm more than willing to make your dog happy and comfortable while you're away!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs I care for on long walks. I live in a walkable neighborhood and have several parks in close proximity to my house. I also love to play fetch in the backyard, play tug-of-war, or just cuddle up on the couch if that's more your dogs style.

Availability
I work from home on Friday’s so am typically home from Thursday evening to Sunday evening. As a result, weekend boarding visits fit great in my schedule! I’m usually available for drop off anytime on Friday or Saturday, home all weekend, and available for pick up at your convenience on Sunday! As long as your dog is comfortable with car rides, I also offer pick up and drop off services from your home (within 15 miles) at an additional charge.
