I’ve been a sitter through Rover for 3 years and have loved it! Sure there are some difficult cats who don’t want to take their meds or dogs who get mud on your new white shorts, but It’s overall been great! Before that I was helping take care of friends and families’ pets since I was a kid.

Abby gave us frequent updates with pics, was responsive and communicative and left our place just as she found it; we highly recommend!
Abby was so good with our dog Lucille. She stayed with Lucille in our home for a long weekend. Lucille doesn’t like to leave the house, even for walks and Abby was so good with her and made Lucille feel comfortable. We had to extend our trip by one day because of weather and Abby kindly stayed an extra night. We will definitely have her dogsit Lucille again!

Knowing eating patterns or medicines they need to take is super important, as well as any favorite toys or activities we should do. Anything they might get into that they shouldn’t is good to know too so they’re safe and healthy
A typical day
I’d love to walk around my neighborhood with your dog in the morning and evening and get some playtime throughout the day! If they have a favorite toy or game we’ll make sure to play that. I’m also not afraid of cuddling so that is sure to happen if your pet likes it.

I am a PhD student so my schedule is super variable throughout the year, but usually I am studying in my apartment or on campus. With the occasional study break to do something social. I don’t have any pets of my own so I would love an excuse to get out of the house and walk your dog or play with your cat, or just hang out with them!
