We just moved from Mountain View to San Jose. We loved being Rover hosts to so many wonderful pups in Mountain View and can't wait to continue with Rover in our new home! My husband and I began watching our friends' dogs while they were away and realized that we and our dog, Laika, love having visitors! As a dog owner, I enjoy being away so much more when I know that my dog is safe, loved and having the time of her life. Chances are, if you have an energetic dog who needs lots of exercise, you worry even more about going away. How many people are willing to give your dog the exercise he or she needs while you're away? We understand, and we are! I work primarily from my home office in San Jose. We have a fenced back yard and a local off-leash dog park just blocks from the house. We own a very active dog and won't shy away from taking care of puppies or energetic adult dogs. We are used to long walks multiple times a day, and weekend hikes to wear out our dog. If this sounds like your dog and you've worried about leaving them with other dog-sitters, consider leaving her or him with us.
