Hello! My name is Abby, I'm a life-long pet lover, sitter and owner in San Diego. I'm that dependable friend who is always trusted to pet-sit her friends and family's pets, and now I'm opening up my services to clients! I have countless references from friends, family members, and my spouse who can attest to the care of my handsome and well-behaved dog, Bodhi (who does not join me for pet sitting). My philosophy around pet-sitting: I host directly from your home. I believe this is best for your pets so they have a consistent, safe location while you're away. Do you need someone last minute? Write to me! I might be able to pinch-hit for you. Daily Updates: The big thing that I'm always hearing from pet owners is that they want to know what's happening with their pup on a day-by-day (or for some, hour-by-hour) basis. Don't feel like you need to get a dash cam - I'll send you photos or videos throughout the day if you'd like! *Requirements: 1. Must be housebroken, neutered or spayed, no aggression, up to date on all vaccines and on a flea prevention. For Weekend Sitting, I can go anywhere from downtown to Oceanside to North County. If you need a weekday sitter, my ideal locations are: Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Vista, San Marcos, Mira Mesa, etc as those locations are within an easy, quick driving distance of my job. If you live closer to downtown or the water: that's absolutely fine, and your pet will receive ample love and time. The only caveat is that I will be gone for up to 6 hours during the day. If your pet can wait that long between walks, then we are golden! Happy pets are tired pets, so I make sure that if a pet is in my care, they are getting long walks and extended play time. This will get all their anxiety and stress out of their bodies so they feel safe until you come back home to them. Pup need a bath? Do you have a routine you like to keep? Working on commands? We can throw in a bath, a trip to Fiesta Island (on-leash), or some basic training sessions.
