I've always loved animals of all shapes and sizes. I have years of experience volunteering at animals shelters with large and small dogs as well as cats of all types. I have experience giving injections, pills, and of course lots of snuggles and love. I have fostered 4 dogs (all with medical issues or trust issues), 25 bottle fed kittens, and have cats of my own. Abby was a terrific cat sitter for my ultra shy but likes a lot of attention cat. Abby made friends in a day and spent time brushing, petting and generally paying attention to her. Abby has been absolutely amazing watching my new puppy!! I am a new dog owner and she has been super helpful with letting my pup out when I’m at work and coming multiple times a day. She has been available at the drop of a hat everytime I have needed a last minute request! On top of it all, she brings enrichment toys to her visits to keep my pup entertained and active! She made her a homemade toy that she left and consistently goes above and beyond! Abby has become my pups bestie and I look forward to working with her for as long as she will have me!

What does a normal drop in with me include? I'll always make sure any needs and requests are met. Then it's play time! I always bring a bag of toys to mix it up including snuffle mats and puzzle games. I want to get your pet running around and I want to make sure they get good mental stimulation during our visit. I like to get down on the floor with them so we can interact and snuggle in a fun way that doesn't intimidate them. What does an overnight look like? I always want to stick to your pets normal routine as well as give them lots of attention and snuggles to make sure they aren't feeling anxious with the change. When I'm doing overnight sitting, I limit my daily work to only my regulars so I can be in the home with your animal as much as possible. We take walks, play lots of games, and I spend a lot of time getting to know them so I can provide the best care possible.

I like to know what comforts the dog if they get stressed, what their favorite toys are, and anything important such as specific fears or medical needs, ect. Also, if they are reactive to other dogs.
A typical day
I love to play tug of war, fetch, and all the classic games but I've also made up a few of my own. For example, I like to break up treats into pieces and hide it throughout a blanket as a scavenger hunt for hunting breeds. On walks, I really enjoy making sure we mix it up. If we walk a certain route one day, we will walk the opposite direction the next or down a different neighborhood. Dogs socialize through smells other dogs leave so I like to make sure they are getting that socialization.

I am very open schedule wise right now. I can fit in most requests if I have enough advanced notice. Last minute works as well if I am free. I do Rover full time so your animal is my top priority.
