I grew up with cats dogs and a variety of other animals in my home. I have cared for other peoples pets throughout college and today and fostered cats through local SPCA and humane society. I am comfortable with a variety of small pets in addition to cats and dogs, and am happy to answer and questions you may have.

In my home when I do not have foster kittens I have a separate room that animals can stay in. My cats are fully vetted and never allowed to interact with guest animals. If my cats being in the house is a stressor they can go stay the night at my significant others house. Keeping every animal as comfortable and safe as possible is my top priority

Let me know if any special needs or history of behavior issues ahead of time. I have two cats that live in the house but they are never allowed near dogs. If your animal is too stressed having a cat in the house my two can go stay with a friend for the duration of their stay.
A typical day
I like to personalize care for every dog. When we talk about what your animals care would look like we can go over what your dog or cat enjoys and what would help them feel most comfortable. I live next to a large park to take them on long walks and I have a yard (unfenced) that we can sit outside and enjoy the weather when it’s nice.

Availability
Just as I care for my own two cats and any foster cats I’ve had, it is a priority in my routine to make sure all animals have what they need. I have flexibility in my work schedule to be able to come and go during the day if need be.
