Pet care experience
I recently moved to Oceanside and work full-time remote from my apartment - start at 5 am and end around 2 pm. I‘ve been working for Rover for about 8 years now because I love animals and to just make a little extra cash ☺️. I’ve had dogs growing up and have a cat (my child) of my own now.. and I just adore animals! I spend a lot of my free time outdoors and enjoying all of the outside areas that California has to offer. I usually explore by myself but lately have had some new furry friends to explore with (thanks to people like you!). I am very responsible, communicative and attentive with a great time management for animals that have a special need or medical issue. Please just let me know at the time of booking if you have any specific instructions for your pet so I am aware. As you will read from my reviews, I treat your furry friend as my own and will always keep you updated when we are together (lots of pics!) I can’t wait to meet your bestfriend! :)

Abbie far exceeded our expectations! She was the perfect house and dog sitter to our 5 month old puppy, Penny. She came a few weeks earlier to meet Penny, which was really great and helped put my mind at ease, as this was the first time I’ve done this. She was communicative and arrived promptly on time. Throughout the week, she sent photos and videos and even let the kids FaceTime with Penny. I can’t say enough great things about Abbie and I’m so grateful for her and that she treated Penny as if she were her own. Thank you so much, Abbie! We will 100% be reaching out to her first for any and all dog sitting needs!

I cannot express how grateful we are to have had Abbie watch our two dogs! She was INCREDIBLE!! She was not only amazing with both of the dogs, but she sent consistent updates of feeding and walks. I am a big worrier and I was not worried for one minute while we were on vacation. I knew our fur babies were in good hands with Abbie. Cannot recommend her enough, I hope we can have Abbie watch our dogs whenever we go out of town.
Abbie was by far the best Rover we’ve ever had!!! She was extremely proactive with questions and coming by the house to ensure she was well prepared and educated to watch our pup! When watching Frank she kept us very well updated with how he was doing and sent many photos! We will definitely use her as much as we can when we need a sitter!

I work from home and have a very flexible schedule during the day with my current job (EST hours, 5am-2pm PST) and I can always help out in a pinch if you needed me to be there! If you would like me to stay at the house with your furry friend, I’m happy to keep them company and work from there if requested ☺️
