Pet care experience
I have been sitting for around 6-7years. I have many friends and family members who rely on me wether it’s to just let their fur baby out to use the restroom or to care for them for weeks at a time. I have been referred by friends and family members to total strangers to me who have trusted me in their home and around their fur babies. I have repeated clients many times through out the years. I believe my love and my heart for pets is what sets me aside from other sitters . I don’t believe this is just a baby sitting job , I believe this is a way for me to connect with different pets and to show them love while their loved ones are away. Pets are humans too!

I having been using Abbie as our Pet and House sitter for 7 years now. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a gecko and 6 zebra finches. She loves and takes care of all of them. Our dogs and cats will sleep with her in our bed, she loves them like there her own pets. They love her and even our 1 dog that has separation anxiety has no issues with Abbie there. I trust her with my home, belongings and our precious fur babies. She is a sweet, caring and genuine person. It's such a relief to be able to travel and take a vacation knowing Abbie will take the best care of our animals. We recently went on a 12 day vacation. She took care of everything perfectly. No issues!! Give her a chance with your precious babies.
We hired Abbie to watch our Yorkie puppy. She did an excellent job. We knew when we left our puppy with her, that we had nothing to worry about. She met and over exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate to hire her again if the need would arise. You could see her love for animals without a doubt. She did everything on time just as we asked her. I give her a 10 put of a 10.

I currently do not sit any pets in my home because I do not have a fenced in back yard and I have a fur baby of my own in my house. I can care for your pet in your home to the best of my ability . Normally I would go in sit down with the pet for a little bit let them get to know who I am or remember who I am , take them out to use the restroom or take them for a walk . Usually I’ll stay outside with them for about 10-20 minutes sometimes longer . Come back in feed them / or do whatever the owner has listed for me to do.

any medication that is needed i will need to know about and specifically how that is given to the pet & how much of it & what method is best if it’s oral medication . I will also need to know if anything in particular alarms the pet if our on a walk or run or just put in the yard. for example i dog sit often for a lady who’s dog goes absolutely crazy if she sees a bird a squirrel or another pedestrian or dog. I usually like to stay cautious of situations like that so that I know what to expect if we encounter something of that sort . I’ve had to sit with a pet that has seizures usually due to being overwhelmed and overlay excited. So it’s best that i know that information ahead of time IF that is something your pet has.
A typical day
a few fun activities i can do for playful energetic dogs who need exercise is go on long walks or runs . throw toys or balls around on the yard aka FETCH hahaha .

Availability
I currently work a part time job where I am able to create my own work hours. Dog/cat sitting and photography are my hobby jobs that I enjoy. So with that being said I do not have a official set hourly scheduled job so sitting fits perfectly into my weekly routines because I have flexible availability.
