*PLEASE CHECK MY SCHEDULE LISTED BELOW, I WORK FULL TIME* my experience at a glance: * 5 years volunteering once a week at the local shelter working with dogs of all types and personalities * 3 years as a Rover pet sitter taking care of hundreds of different animals, even some birds & reptiles! * 1 year and counting in a grooming salon handling pets * 18 years of being a pet mom to my own dogs and family dogs dogs have been a huge part of my life ever since i was 8 years old and my sister got her dog. i’ve been around dogs for about 18 years now, and have educated myself on dog behavior & training ever since. i feel like i understand dogs better than people a lot of times haha. i love my kitty friends too, in fact i have a cat shaped hole in my life as i do not have one at the moment, much as i would love to. I am a quick learner too, can pick up on other animal care very quickly if you are willing to educate me on what is involved. i took about a two year break from rover when the pandemic hit and i explored other jobs. while i have found a job i love, i am giving rover a trial again as a side hustle because there are some things i really miss about it. if you are one of my old clients, be sure to check out below as my situation is a lot different than it was two years ago.
