I am one month away from earning my certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington! I am currently a supporting member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), and look forward to applying for my certifications in dog, cat, and horse behavior consulting. I also own a pet training and behavior consulting business called Quirky Canine! ABOUT MY SERVICES All services will utilize positive reinforcement training with a clicker and food rewards. Please schedule a Meet-n-Greet before your first appointment so I can accustom your dog to the clicker beforehand. Please inform me of any dietary restrictions your dog has and provide dog-safe food if my selection is unsatisfactory. DOG WALKING All walks booked through Rover are for loose-leash training walks. Owners do not have to be present; I will train your dog for you! Your dog will enjoy their time outside to do their business and explore while also receiving food rewards for good leash manners. Please provide a fixed-length leash, a properly fitted harness, and poop bags. DROP-IN VISITS All drop-in visits booked through Rover are for individual training sessions on behaviors of your choosing. Owners do not have to be present; I will train your dog for you! I can teach basic obedience/tricks, cooperative care, or work on a behavior issue your dog has in the house. Please note that drop-in visits are only 30 minutes long, so I only have time to work on one behavior each time.
