Pet care experience
James and I are an energetic couple who travel too much to have our own pets, so we love to share yours! We love caring for pets and both have extensive experience pet sitting across multiple cities and two continents! We love watching my parents' two raucous dogs and quirky cat, Pickles. We have both worked for Wag! as dog walkers, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Now, we are eager to contribute to the Rover community. Together, we work from home and therefore have plenty of time to care for low and high-need pets alike — we have experience caring for farm animals, including being able to identify when an animal is stressed or needs medical care.

Abbey & James sat for me at my home while on a week long trip out of the country. They took amazing care of my dog Zoey and home. They provided lots of updates and took Zoey on many adventures. She liked them so much she was looking for them in the guest room the day after I returned. I will happily have them sit again in the future.
Abbey and James could not have been more amazing with Winston. They treated him like their own dog! I could tell they gave him so much love and stimulation. They easily followed my instructions, took him on adventures, and made him feel at ease in moments when he gets anxious. They sent multiple pictures and updates a day, and I didn’t worry the entire time I was away. I would ask them to watch Winston any time. Thanks for everything Abbey and James!
Abbey and James cared for our little female dog Bug at our house while we were away for 4 days. They are great! They were very sweet and loving to Bug, sent us many updates. We could tell Bug was happy and comfortable with them. They were very responsible, trustworthy and left our house super clean. We will use them again for sure!
I would 1000% recommend Abbey as a pet sitter and dog walker. Abbey took amazing care of our two cats and two dogs while we were away for four days for a wedding. They provided comprehensive, in-house supervision of our pets, including our puppy who was still being house-broken. The dogs were taken for adventures around town and had so much fun! Pictures and updates were sent throughout the day, and the communication was kind and timely. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had on Rover.

A typical day
James and my's daily routine is very amenable to dog or cat care alike. Depending on your and your animal's preferences, we love snuggling up and hanging out at home, or spending long hours outside. Since we work from home and make our own schedules, it's easy to adjust to what you want for your companion! We love to go to the dog park with our parents' dog, Charlie, and would be eager to do the same with your dog, if s/he socializes well with other canines! We ensure that we have ready access to your pet's favorite hobbies, including hiking, park-playing, and generally frolicking outside in spaces that are not too crowded or noisy. Let us know what your pet is used to, and enjoys, and we will be happy to oblige!
