Hi there! My name is Abbey. I am an avid dog lover, having grown up with dogs my entire life, from a shih-tzu, to labs, to pitbulls. I also own a 4-year-old mini poodle mix named Phoebe. I love all types of dogs, big and small. I graduated from Iowa State in 2018 and spent my years there as a dog walker and sitter. I formerly worked at Petco as a dog trainer. My certification at Petco required a six week apprenticeship where I learned about dog training techniques, as well as the psychology of dogs and their behaviors. I have also been a dog walker on Wag for three years and really enjoy walking dogs through that app. As you can tell, I love dogs and have lots of experience caring for them, both for fun and professionally. I will be more than happy to take care of your pup and work with you to meet any unique needs you might have.
