Pet care experience
Hi! I am Abbey. I am 24 and have been dog boarding, sitting, walking, and drop in visiting for over 8 years since I was 16. I have watched animals my entire life and genuinely care for them like they’re my own when I am caring for them. I have been relied on by family, friends, and strangers. I swear the animals know that I love being around them and one of my clients even wrote me a Christmas card months after watching her elderly dog because I cared for him so much he didn’t want to leave. I am also in the process of being a volunteer at the Mohawk Humane Society and will walk/bathe/clean cages for them as well. I cannot wait to care for your babies! ❤️

Abbey is a young, caring girl. Ever since she was a kid she has always loved taking care of animals. When she was younger she saw a puppy on the side of the road and took it to a shelter to get cared for. I don’t know anyone else who loves animals as much as she does. Do yourself a favor and let her watch your animals! You won’t regret it
Abbey LOVES animals. She has watched my dogs so many times and is the sweetest. She cares so much and you can tell. I always ask her to watch my pups when I’m gone because I trust her with my dogs in her care!
Terrible!!!!!! She should not be on this sight! We flew to my grandsons christening in another state. She came,left and never came back to feed them, walk them, sleep over with them, nothing! She wouldn’t answer her phone! Her voicemail was full! I hired her Fri-Mon! I was a wreck! Called Rover, they said they can’t help me for 72 hrs!!!!!! What kind of guarantee service is this?!!! I had to hire 3 different people at random! They have diarea now from nerves!!!!!! Who flips the bill for that?! Rover?!!! I requested a stop payment 109% on my credit card! They said they had to review it?!??♀️What?!!!! I called the day after and advised I have security cameras to prove everything! I could say so much more! I give a zero rating!!!!!! This sight doesn’t allow a zero! Why not! It should remove her from their sight!!!!! If I couldn’t find someone to go over, they had no water or feed and were locked up in separate rooms. ???????

I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a massive walking area that is right off the Hudson River that I walk pretty much everyday on my own and would love to have a pup by my side! Like I mentioned, your animal is my animal when in my care, so sleeping on the bed is a must if they can! Snuggle buddy, yes please!

I would like to know the type of dog, how old they are, and how they are on walks around other animals so I know where the best walking paths to go on. I also like to bring them to a dog park sometimes so it is also nice to know your preference on me driving them!
A typical day
I will go on walks where I am familiar and I will make sure that if I am on any streets they are safe and have plenty of grass! I also bring poop bags and a portable water bottle on days that are hot and usually cut walks into smaller increments.

Availability
I am currently working full time hybrid, so it’s super easy for me to shift my schedule around if i need to to accommodate your animals in my care. I am only a short 10 minute drive from my office so lunch breaks are a must. We can always chat to what works best with your specific needs!
