Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was 13 and I am now 28. I adopted my 3 year old mix in 2017, and also have an 8 year old cat! I have experience raising puppies as well as older dogs, and love them both the same. I love playing outside and inside, and would also be happy to just hang out at home with your pup. I will spend my day playing with and hugging your dog, and treating him or her as my own! Also expect photo updates of our time together if you'd like!

We feel so lucky to have found Abbey! She was super flexible with our plans changing, and so obviously gave our boys love when we were away! It Was also such a treat to get pictures and updates when away too :)
My family hired Abbey last week when we were vacationing down in Bluffton to feed, walk, and care for our dog while we took a long day trip to Charleston. We were extremely impressed by Abbey and her professionalism and enthusiasm! Abbey was highly responsive and communicative - before, during, and after her visit with Mickey. She was prompt, reliable, and most importantly made the effort to care for Mickey just as we do. She even suggested a short "meet and greet" beforehand so that she could get to know him and us. We were so pleased with Abbey that we decided to take another long day trip during our vacation and hired her a second time. We knew that Mickey would be in trustworthy and loving hands. We wholeheartedly recommend Abbey with much enthusiasm!
Abbey responded to my request within minutes and was able to provide me with excellent service on short notice. I will book with her again in the future.

I have about 7 years of experience walking dogs with varying temperaments. I’m confident walking any size dog! I’ve also worked with sick animals a lot, so I’d always check your animals general health and disposition.

Please let me know if your pet has any anxiety around strangers being home without their owner! I’m happy to work with these pets, as long as I know what the situation is before my first visit. I also ask that medication instructions be extremely clear/detailed so that I can ensure to give them correctly.
A typical day
I love walking, playing fetch, and preparing dogs’ meals. If treats are allowed, I’m happy to do enrichment games with your dog, or hang out and watch tv. With cats, wands are my favorite toys to use (and my cat’s). I’m also willing to brush your pets during my time with them!

Availability
I’m currently going back to school, and have a generally open schedule to care for your pets! I’d be able to do two visits daily if needed, and possibly 3 depending on the distance.
