Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Abbey, and I am a full-time college student with flexible hours and a love for animals. My sweet Bo is a 1 year old chocolate lab mix and has tons of friends! He'd love to meet your dog and become friends too. I've never not had a dog my entire life, and I have dog sat many different breeds and ages- from bottle feeding newborn puppies to taking care of senile dogs and anything in between. I believe dogs have the purest hearts, and they should be treated with the upmost care and love. I volunteer frequently to shelters to spend time with the foster dogs there, and I have grown quite attached. I would also like to add that I am very comfortable with administering medicine as I have done it many times before to my own pets and volunteering at shelters as long as I am given detailed instructions. I'm reliable, independent, and loyal to any job, and I am very blessed to have amazing experiences with every pet sitting job i've had, and I cannot wait to experience more. Please hire Abbey! We want to thank you for your compassionate care for our fur babies. I am a very satisfied and happy client! Abbey showed immaculate care for our 3 huskies. She updated us with pictures, and was very descriptive! She took them to the dog park with her puppy, and treated mine like her own :-) She's the best pet sitter we've ever had! No daschunds, I had one very aggressive and mean one bite me and traumatized me from that breed. However, any other breed I am okay with. I would like to know about temperament, any aggressive behavior, sneaky tricks (like being able to open the doors), if they get along with other unfamiliar dogs/people, their eating habits, and your care preferences.
A typical day
My puppy loves Kiesel Park, the trails are long and beautiful and I love taking my dog, as well as my clients' dogs there! I love going anywhere with trails and nature with the pups i'm caring for, but I also like simple walks around the neighborhood as well.
