I have had dogs in my household since I was two years old and been around many others in family and friends' homes. I absolutely adore dogs. There's nothing better than having someone at home to greet you with a happy face no matter what the day was like and snuggle up with at the end of the day. One of my future goals is to open up a ranch for older dogs, who end up in shelters, but never get adopted, to have a place to run around and feel loved. While I currently do not have dogs in my home, I go visit my childhood pup and the older dog we adopted two years ago in my parents' home and dog-sit for them when they are away.
