Pet care experience
I served on the board of the Norfolk SPCA from 2016 to 2021. I have a 17-year-old cat that is an only child and would not welcome a brother or sister dog but I love dogs and this service provides me the opportunity to meet & interact with dogs. I currently walk between 10-15 miles per day and bike between 10-15 miles for exercise so combining my passion for being outside, walking, riding my bike and most importantly spending time with and caring for dogs is an optimal combination for me. My preference is to provide on demand or pre scheduled walks for dogs that last between 30-60 minutes and are within a 3 mile radius of where I live. I live in Ghent so dogs that live in Ghent, downtown Norfolk, Colonial Place or Larchmont are a great match. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!

The BEST paw care giver in the 757! My dogs are finicky and struggle with separation anxiety, but Aaron’s care allows them to stay nestled at home when work sends me away. The videos and pics help keep me updated and soothe my worry, and I come home to loving little monsters who are ready to carry on with our regular life! When I tried other sitters, I found they would often return home frazzled and take a couple days to calm down. Aaron’s a keeper, we’re only sharing when we have to!

A typical day
I walk between 10-15 miles a day on average so the dog would get plenty of walking. I would play any game they are accustomed to. I live in Ghent so there are several dog parks and many parks where the dog & I can play alone without other dogs.
