Pet care experience
I started pet sitting for neighbors when I was in middle school and grew up caring for my own dogs. Before moving to Lubbock for grad school in January 2021, I was a volunteer for a total of five years with rescues in both Georgia and Ilinois. I helped with all aspects of the rescues, including walking, feeding, transporting, bathing, giving shots and medicine, adoptions, fundraisers, and cleaning. Additionally, I help transport dogs for other rescues across the country (Pointer Rescue, Org., Alone 2 Home, Kindred Hearts Transport Connection, etc). I have worked with a variety of breeds of all sizes at both rescues.

I worked with Aaron at second chance animal rescue! He was wonderful to work with. The dogs loved him and we called him “The Dog Whisperer”.
Aaron worked at our dog rescue for a couple years. He was very valuable in helping us care for our dogs. We could always count on him to not only care for the dogs but he would just sit with the ones that needed extra love and they loved him!!! We surely miss him as he moved away. I recommend Aaron to care for your pet.
I met Aaron while he was volunteering with a local dog rescue that I also help with. He was always willing to go above & beyond whenever there was a dog in need! Transporting, bathing, giving meds, taking pics, or just cuddling...he did it all. You can rest assured that your dog will be very well taken care of & gets lots of love while with Aaron!

I live in a house with a front yard and a fenced back yard. I am able to crate if need be, and Willow is crate trained as well. If caring for a pet in a client's home, I will make sure to follow all directions and keep their pet as close to their routine as possible.

I would like to know about any dietary concerns, behavioral issues, separation anxiety, etc. I am comfortable with a variety of dogs, but it helps everyone involved to communicate anything important beforehand!
A typical day
When caring for any dog, I will take frequent walks in a variety of settings (neighborhood, campus, dog park, etc) and make sure they have everything they need while having a great time!

Availability
I am a Masters student at Texas Tech, but I have a fairly flexible schedule and live close enough to campus that I am able to run home couple times a day to care for my own dog, Willow.
