Small Dog Vacations for 1 dog at a

Give your dog a vacation while you're away on vacation by having it stay in our home in Concord, CA. Your dog will get a chance to play with our family and our small dog, Puckett. He loves to play with other dogs. We only accept small or medium sized dogs, and want your dog to feel comfortable in our home and large back yard. I'm a freelance writer working from home, so I'm home all day to take care of your dog. I have years of experience taking care of friends' dogs for free, and will treat your dog as my own during its vacation. Your dog will enjoy walks and lots of play time with our dog and family. We have a large back yard for your dog to play in. We also live near a dog park at Newhall Community Park if your dog needs extra exercise. Please bring whatever your dog needs to be comfortable, including its crate, bed, toys and anything else. We don't accept aggressive breeds, and we don't accept large dogs. About this sitter: Dog owner for most of my life. Why I love dog sitting I've owned dogs most of my life, and have cared for friends' dogs for years when they've gone on vacation. Meet my pets Puckett, a small terrier mix that is friendly with other dogs. About my yard A large, fenced yard in a residential neighborhood. The terrain is mostly dead grass, since we don't water the lawn due to the drought in California. There is also a concrete patio, and lots of shade from the large tree in the back yard. My experience administering medication Yes. I've done this with my own dog.

Our furry family member, Egozi, LOVES visiting Aaron! Not only does he provide a relaxed and safe home away from home, but Egozi's best buddy lives there too! Aaron's dog, Puckett, makes a fantastic playmate for Egozi and is always happy to see him. They wear each other out playing so much, add to that the at least daily walks and Egozi couldn't be happier. Thank you, Aaron for making Egozi feel so welcome and worn out! ;-)

I prefer small or medium size dogs, mainly because I have a small dog who gets along with similar size dogs. I have a daughter, so I don't board aggressive dogs.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks At least two walks per day of 20-30 minutes each around our neighborhood. I take my dog to a local dog park at least once a week for about 20 minutes, and will take your dog too if that works for you. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In our living room, on a bed that you'll bring for them. Or in their crate if you prefer that. Time I'll spend with your dog 24 hours. I work from home as a freelance writer, so I'm home all day long. For the hour or so when I'm out of the house running errands each day, I can either crate your dog or keep it in our fenced back yard.
