Grew up with hunting dogs (Springer spanial, brittany, labs) and have moved on to PC's and pit bulls. I do not have any animals. I take both my sisters dogs for walks and 1 is a pit lab mix and the other is a Lhasa apso and I get compliments all the time about how behaved they are and walk with me, especially when other dogs are around or barking through a fence. I just say "I'm going for a walk, they are lucky enough to come with me." No touch, no talk, no eye contact. I will make your dog trust me and then that trust will follow through the leash and back to the owners. Dogs live in packs, so if you have more than 1 that is fine with me
