Love (your dog) at first sight
Pet care experience
**In the interest of safety, I am only accepting dogs proven to be friendly with other dogs. No fear, no resource guarding, etc** With 7+ years of experience volunteering at animal shelters, fostering dogs and cats, and loving on my own pets, I am very much an animal lover. I also have multiple years of experience working with dogs professionally. I have experience working with a wide variety of dogs: easy and high maintenance, tiny and massive, stubborn and highly biddable. I particularly enjoy working with the difficult/“bad” dogs such as the high-arousal bullies that need frequent reminders to take it down a notch, the driven Malinois that won’t let you get away with a lazy day, and the stubborn Pyrenees that plants itself in one spot even when you present it with the most mouthwatering treats. I still have a lot to learn but I am an eager and quick study, and I believe that I have the skill that working with animals demands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I am currently a full-time college student with lots of time to spend with your pets! The only times I am not available are Wednesdays between 12 pm and 6 pm as well as Fridays after 4:30 pm. The 5-acre property that I live on is fully fenced and regularly examined for potential weak points or weaknesses along the fence-line. We have two houses on our property: the big, main house owned and occupied by myself and my family, and the smaller house rented and occupied by our very dog-savvy tenants. We have a multitude of animals on our property that we have full capability to separate from your pet, should the need arise including 2 dogs belonging to me and my family, 1 dog belonging to our tenants, 1 cat belonging to my family, a small fenced-off herd of Nubian goats, and a fenced-off flock of chickens (which includes one rooster). We have access to at least 3 crates of various sizes and 2 doggie play-pens and we have plenty of space for any supplies you should wish to send with your pet when they stay at my home. While traveling, your dog will either be securely seat-belted in or they will be in a crate depending on your desires and comfort levels. Meals will be provided separately from other animals to prevent any opportunity for conflict and no toy, chew, or treat will be provided without supervision. At the end of every day, your animal will be examined from head-to-toe for ticks, foxtails, and any other potential irregularities. Fresh water is available at all times both inside and outside of the house, and all pets will be monitored in case of extreme weather. In addition, the pool that we have on our property is securely fenced off and inaccessible to animals without supervision.
Reviews
I really appreciate the daily communication and care provide to our kitty menagerie. Aarin did a great job
Effortless, satisfying stay over. Will use again!
Aarin treated Buddy so well I was afraid he wouldn't want to come home with me! I will not hesitate to use Aarin again.
I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a while, but I’ve had Aarin watch my cat Sharkbait twice now and he always exceeds my expectations. Sends regular updates and makes sure my house is in better condition than when I left it. Will continue to use Aarin!

Before caring for an animal, I require that we do a meet and greet so we can make sure I’m truly the best fit for you and your pet’s needs. We can do said meet and greets wherever you are most comfortable such as my house, a local park, or your house among other spots. After our meet and greet, if you wish to do doggie daycare or boarding, I will require that our dogs get the opportunity to meet in a neutral place before the booking to make sure they will be comfortable together. Your dog MUST be dog-friendly in order to do daycare or boarding at my home as I have a dog myself and there is an another very friendly and polite dog on the property that your dog would likely come into contact with. Leash reactivity is 100% okay, just let me know ahead of times if your dog is leash reactive so I can best manage the dogs’ arousal levels.

Information Aarin T. would like to know about your pet
I need to know how your dog reacts to the following things: new people, new dogs, cats, squirrels, birds, loud noises, sudden movements, men vs women, children, and new environments. Is your dog a couch potato who will be content to cuddle all day or is your dog the type that will be bouncing off the walls if it isn’t given at least 2 walks a day?
A typical day
Have you got a big park near your house that you never have the time to get to? I am already there. Have you always wanted to see what tricks your dog might be able to learn? I would love to help. I take my personal dog on frequent pet friendly outings and adventures and if your dog enjoys those, I’d be more than happy to take them too!

Availability
I do walks and doggie daycare Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning, Thursday, and Friday whereas my weekends are left open for house/dog-sitting and boarding. I will usually accept house/dog-sitting and boarding on weekdays as well, though so do not be discouraged from reaching out if you need help on a week day. The only dates and times I’m unavailable for care Wednesdays after 11am and Fridays after 4:30pm, but exceptions can be made for certain situations.
