I have grown up being around dogs since I was a child. My best friend and some of my family members always had dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils and other animals around me growing up. Also, I was always at their houses helping them raise and train their dogs. My family and friends would trust me so much that they would ask me to pet sit and even walk their pets periodically. They always called me when vacations or other events came up to take care of their pets. I enjoyed every minute with them. Although I haven been around animals since I was seven years old, I never had the luxury of owning my own dog growing up. It was mostly because their wasn't enough room and some of my family in our household were allergic to dogs. The only pets I was allowed to have was a hamster & turtle. I've gotten a lot of my experience living vicariously through my friends and family that had dogs. I grew a close relationship with their dogs and enjoyed taking care of them. I am currently enrolled as a freshman in college. I am a singer and a musician. I have been singing since I was a child and playing instruments for a while as well. Also, I'm artistic and I write poetry. I love being around all animals and people. I enjoy doing volunteer work and helping the people that are less fortunate.
