“Brooklyn was able to help me out last minute and was great. She paid a lot of attention to my dogs and they really liked her. She communicated well and was fully invested in making sure my dogs were well-taken care of while I was gone.”

“So, relying on folks we knew as reliable dog/house sitters hasn’t worked out well for us. So I thought “I’ll use a service.” Perhaps paying folks I don’t know - and who will rely on my review of their service as a means to obtain more business - and truly treating this as a business transaction, would be a better route than assuming all of my friends love my babies as much as I do. I chose Tracy solely based upon his large number of positive reviews. Tracy was all business, and I appreciated it. As a first time customer he made time to stop by and meet me and the pups and let me show him around the house. We agreed upon the time he would spend here, and that he would take my puppy back to his house for the night. And what we agreed upon is exactly what happened. I got regular updates and he humored me through my constant texts. I never waited longer than a few minutes to get a reply from him. It was equally refreshing to come home after being gone all night and have it seem as though nobody had been in my house, and to have the dogs happy, calm and content. Thank you Tracy!”

“Lisa gave great updates, followed my dogs’ schedules properly, even cleaned up some messes which I am so appreciative of! She gave them lots of love and care! She was great!”

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

“This was my first experience with Rover and Brianna was great! She was flexible with all known and last minute requests while caring for my dogs at our house. She sent pictures throughout the week, communicated when she would be away from the dogs during the day and when she returned, provided updates on how they were doing, and didn't hesitate to ask questions if my notes were unclear. I will definitely be reaching out to her for future bookings. Thanks again!”

“Sam took great care of our senior kitty and our dog while we were on vacation, just as she always does. They barely seems to notice when we returned—and I think that’s the highest compliment that our two anxiety-prone creatures can pay! Thank you, Sam!”

“Lydia didn't exceptional job watching our dog, Fiona! She was very helpful when I needed to extend our trip and have her watch Fiona longer. She did a great job with Fiona!! We will definitely be using her services in the future!!!”

“We are so thankful to have found Bree. She provided constant updates and was always willing to check in more if we wanted. We will 100% be using her for our extended vacations.”

About: I have taken a wide variety of dogs from a Chihuahua to a German shepherd. Neighbors and friends have relied on me to walk, feed, give medications and play with their dogs. I have also stayed overnight servers different times. This has given a wide variety of experience with different cares and types of dogs. I am currently looking for part time summer jobs. I am fairly flexible and could work a variety of days and hours. I am able to pick up jobs at a short notice. I have a two weeks I would not be able to work but am free the rest of the summer. I am not currently in an apartment that would not suite dogs. I am comfortable and have experience with pet care in the home. I would be able to stay or night or visit throughout the day. I can walk, play and crate dogs if needed.

About: I grew up with always at least six dogs in our care and two cats. I also have had experience rehabbing orphaned puppies and kittens, as well as some wildlife. I used to be a senior foster for hospice care, so I’m used to going above and beyond for comfort and high needs for animals! No request is too much for the good of the animals :) Because I’m a teacher, I’m especially looking for summer availability right now, as I’m typically wide open during this period. During the school year, I have varied availability. I have two friendly dogs and four friendly cats. My backyard is fenced, and my neighborhood is wonderful for walking with many winding sidewalks and beautiful trees.

“Sarah is absolutely amazing! Our fur babies were so well taken care of and she updated us everyday while we were on vacation!”

About: Our three beloved dogs of 15 years are now gone. We are eager to help care for your fur babies when you need someone to do so. We are care and comfort providers! Through Rover we have had over 40 four legged friends come to stay! I work out of the house 20 hours a week. I am able to be home and around for all potty breaks, play time, and walks! My husband is home in the evenings for snuggle time! I have a fenced in yard, three cats, and one rabbit. They are all current on their flea meds and shots. I live in a great walk friendly neighborhood as well.

“Sami wathced our dog over the weekend and did an amazing job. She was nice enought to come over to our house before our trip so that we could introduce her to our dog and our house, which helped us feel much more comfortable. She sent us daily pictures/updates. We would definitely choose to work with her again!”

“Mary was an exceptional sitter for Meatball while we were at the Miami Open, bringing a special touch by including her well-behaved dog, Odin. This unique pairing was fantastic; Meatball not only enjoyed her company but also learned positive behaviors from Odin, showcasing Mary’s skill in fostering a great environment for pets to learn from each other. We appreciated the regular updates and photos from Mary, which highlighted the fun and educational interactions between Meatball and Odin. Mary’s understanding of dog behavior and her proactive approach to pet sitting went beyond our expectations, providing Meatball with both care and companionship. We highly recommend Mary for her thoughtful and enriching pet sitting services. Her ability to merge care with behavioral guidance through Odin’s exemplary behavior is truly commendable. Thanks Mary!”

“Brandi and Lu were excellent dog sitters. Our dogs fell in love with them immediately and I felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We needed help with a sitter for a long trip last minute and they were so accommodating. Not only were they over communicative and followed all the instructions for our special girls, they were lovely house guests. They went above and beyond, and even brushed my fluffy dog. But most of all, my girls were happy. Will definitely be having them again! 🙏🏻🙏🏻”

4. Rita W.
“I'm more than happy to recommend Rita Wheeler as a pet sitter. She has been the best cat sitter I've ever had. She's reliable and communicative, and she fully follows care instructions. She's loving to the animals, and she goes above and beyond during her time with them. It put me at ease to know I could trust her to take thoughtful care of my fur babies! The last cat sitter I had wasn't this great, but I didn't suspect she was having a negative effect on my cats until Rita took over. With the last sitter, when I came home from a trip, they would be hiding. After Rita became my cat sitter, they greeted me at the door. This made me realize they felt safer when she came over than the last person. I'm grateful to Rita!”
